Curriculum

A broad and challenging curriculum, which embraces and extends beyond the National Curriculum, provides the opportunity for children to excel in many areas. The younger children are taught mostly by their form teachers, although specialist teaching begins in the Nursery and Reception (for Music and French). As the children move up through the school the amount of specialist teaching increases. The subjects studied are:

English                    Geography                         Art
Mathematics            Religious Education Music
Science                   French                                ICT
Physical Education Spanish (from Y5)        History
Personal, Social & Health Education

A great deal of cross-curricular work and activities take place, for example through our residential trips and themed weeks.
