The Independent School’s Inspectorate (ISI) report of the Standard Inspection which took place during the summer term has now been published, and we are pleased to attach a copy for your perusal. Copies of the report will shortly be posted on the ISI website.
We are delighted with its content. The inspectors have judged St. Helen’s College to be outstanding or excellent (inspectors use these words interchangeably) in all twelve areas inspected. These are: the quality of pupils’ achievements and their learning, attitudes and skills; the contribution of curricular and extra-curricular provision; the contribution of teaching; the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of the pupils; the contribution of arrangements for welfare, health and safety; the quality of governance; the quality of leadership and management; the quality of links with parents, carers and guardians; the overall effectiveness of the early years provision; the effectiveness of leadership and management of the Early Years Foundation Stage; the quality of provision in the Early Years Foundation Stage; and outcomes for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
It is very rare for a school to achieve the top grade in all twelve categories and this amazing success is testament to the exceptional talent, teamwork and dedication of the staff, the diligence, enthusiasm and good character of the pupils, and the superb support of the parents.
