This assembly was a musical called 'Billy No-Buzz' about a bee that has no friends because the other bees judge him for not having a buzz. The acting was amazing - I was worried that Billy, played by Charlotte, was about to burst into tears because she was so convincing! All the acting was great, with the children confident and showing a maturity well beyond their nursery years. Jessica sang a beautiful solo which was very moving. I'm sure all the parents were very proud.
3B did a stirring assembly on the Battle of Waterloo. They recited many relevant facts and also gave an exciting dramatisation of the battle with a French accented Napoleon gradually being defeated, complete with a cannon at the front of the performing area. This was rounded off with the song 'Waterloo' by Abba, sung with gusto!
