We are delighted to announce that three members of St. Helen's College staff have been appointed to work at Ducklings.
Mrs. Lisa Haar will be the manager of the new setting. Many of you will know Mrs. Haar, as she has worked with us for some time. Her expertise and experience in Early Years is extensive. As Childcare Development Officer for Harrow Council, Mrs. Haar supported 56 Day Nurseries and Early Years settings throughout Harrow borough. She visited these settings and supported them in providing the best possible care and education with the aim to achieve Outstanding Ofsted reports. After having her own family, Mrs. Haar decided to open her own pre-school setting, which she successfully managed for four years with an outstanding Ofsted report.
Mrs. Corrina McGee will be the Deputy Manager of Ducklings. Mrs. McGee is well known to any parent who has had a child pass through the doors of R2. She is currently studying for an Early Years degree, and will continue her studies in her new role. The level of care she provides to children and parents is exceptional and, while she will be greatly missed in Reception, the expertise and enthusiasm she will bring to Ducklings will be invaluable.
Mrs. Elaine Coyle will also be joining Ducklings as an Assistant Teacher. Mrs. Coyle has worked in our Rainbow Nursery class for several years now and is a most effective and much loved Assistant Teacher. Her caring nature and genuine love for young children make her a wonderful addition to the Ducklings team!
The recruitment process is now underway for two further Kindergarten assistants and for high calibre new staff to replace Mrs. Coyle and Mrs. McGee in N2 and R2 respectively, and we will introduce you to the new staff once they are appointed.
