A group of able and talented designers went to the Victoria and Albert Museum to take part in a workshop called, "Explore, Play, Build". They sketched in the architecture gallery and were then set the challenge of designing a playground that would fit into the vast entrance hall of the V&A. They made models to show their concept and displayed them on a plan view of the foyer, complete with scale models of people. Their models were excellent and the V&A teacher was very impressed by their design skills and collaboration. Well done to those children who took part in this thoroughly enjoyable day.
On Wednesday, some of our talented drama students had the privilege of watching 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' in the West End. Luckily, we had the best seats in the house, so had an amazing view of the stage. It was wonderful to see the children's faces light up and hear their squeals of delight as a well known story came to life.
