Please ensure that your children return to school in full summer uniform (no shirt sleeve order) and with appropriate hair cuts. We take great pride in the appearance of the St. Helen's College children and we expect parents and pupils to share this pride and to do everything possible to maintain a smart appearance at all times. So please shine those shoes, iron those trousers and dust off those caps/boaters, ready for your children to impress!
The parking regulations document has been updated and can be found on the All School Documents page of the website. It is crucial that all parents follow the regulations at all times, and that you ensure that any other people dropping off or collecting your children are aware of, and follow, these regulations for the safety of pupils and drivers. We work hard to build good relationships with our neighbours and we are very grateful that parents and carers do the same as members of the St. Helen's College community. So please be warned - inconsiderate driving or parking will not be tolerated!
We very much enjoy seeing parents and grandparents in the playgrounds each morning as you bring your children to school. We would, however, like to remind you that the morning routine at school is an important one. At Upper School, children are expected to line up in silence when the bell is rung at 8.30 a.m. Please would all parents and carers say their goodbyes and leave the playground in good time before the bell is rung, to ensure that children are able to experience the sense of occasion that accompanies the beginning of the school day. We understand that, especially for new families, the first week might be a little different, but from the second week of term (Monday 12th September onwards) we would be most grateful for your support in this.
