Partnerships between parents, educators and children enhance children’s success. We know that children learn more and have better lives when everyone in the school community works together to share thoughts and information and work on projects to benefit children. The Parents' Association hosts various events throughout the school year that benefit the children at our school, including the Summer Fete, Christmas Party, Quiz Nights, Sports Day Refreshments, Year 6 leavers' presents and more.
By becoming a member of the Parents' Association, you can become an important part of helping to ensure that these plans become a reality. You can devote as much or as little time as you are able. We always welcome your new ideas for the benefit of our children.
An opportunity has arisen for a new Executive Committee to be formed for the PA at St. Helen's College. We would like to invite new parents to join the committee in the executive positions or as a committee member. We are looking to fill these positions as soon as possible: Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. The nomination form is attached here which must be completed and returned no later than 26th February 2016. This is a great opportunity for new enthusiasm, ideas and direction to be injected into the PA. The AGM announcing the new committee will be held in The Evans Hall on Thursday, 3rd March 2016.
