Thank you to everyone who has been involved so far in raising funds for Cancer Research UK's Relay for Life. Many events have already happened across the school and there are more planned for next term. Here is a round up of what has gone on so far.
Last Friday, for part of the morning, 3B held a sponsored silence to raise money for Cancer Research UK, supporting the Relay for Life team. The target was to reach at least £100, but a final count has put the total at an enormous and amazing £602.68!!! Well done to all the children for collecting so many sponsors, and a huge thank you to the parents of 3B for their support for this event.
The Year 6 pupils took over the school for the morning yesterday and the lucky raffle winners drew out to see who would be which member of staff. Some took lessons, some were handymen, and some took assemblies! The real teachers were very impressed with the level of planning that had gone into the lessons! The total raised was £324.00.
5W raised £11.00 selling cakes they had brought in from home. Many thanks to those parents and children who contributed cakes for the sale.
