We hope that you will enjoy these photographs from Junior Sports Day, which took place on Monday. The afternoon was, as ever, enormously enjoyable and we were very impressed with the children's determination to compete to the best of their ability in all areas. A very big thank you to Miss Walker for her hard work and commitment in organising the event, and a big well done to all those who took part.
Sixty two pupils from Years 3,4,5, and 6 took part in the annual triangular athletics competition hosted by Oak Farm School this week. Pupils competed in a variety of running events against runners from Oak Farm and Hillingdon schools. For our Year 3 pupils, it was their first time representing the school in a sporting event but it didn't phase them and our older pupils cheered them on. Everyone tried very hard and St. Helen's College athletes were placed in many races which contributed to St. Helen's finishing in 2nd place in the team competition behind Oak Farm School and ahead of Hillingdon School. Notable individual performances included first place and gold medals for Tia in the Year 3 girls' 50m, Ayomide in the Year 4 boys' 60m, Seun in the Year 4 girls' 60m, Zoe in the Year 3 girls' 200m, Ayobami in the Year 4 boys' 200m, Aaron in the Year 6 boys' 200m, Yasmin in the Year 5 girls' 600m and the Year 4 boys' relay team: Ayomide, Ayobami, Shwan and Foluwa. Well done to everyone!
