- At the end of the day, some Lower School parents are allowing their children to run out of school. This is extremely dangerous. At this time, dance school parents are frequently turning in and out of the car park, and Long Lane is a busy road. Parents cannot assume that their young children have sufficient awareness to avoid moving cars and must keep them under control. The School Patrol is not responsible for preventing unattended children from running into the paths of cars, and parents are urged to take steps to ensure that their children are safe.
- The Long Lane car park has a clockwise flow system. Some parents, spotting a parking space, are darting in via the exit. This unexpected contra-flow could catch pedestrians unaware and cause an accident, as well as congestion when cars meet head on.
- In the mornings (or at any other time), please do not park outside the Upper School and wait for the gate to open. It causes congestion, increases the risk of an accident as it restricts traffic flow, and prevents neighbours from turning out of their drives.
