Pupils in Years 2 to 6 enjoyed an exciting day out to see Beauty and the Beast in Windsor last Friday. It really was a spectacular show and all of the children enjoyed it immensely.
The refectory at Upper School was filled with music and the sound of crackers being pulled on Thursday lunchtime as children (and staff) enjoyed their Christmas lunch. We dined on traditional turkey with all the trimmings, with cranberry and red onion tart for vegetarians. The usual sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salad bar were on offer too of course. A wonderful time was had by all!
It is quite amazing what children can achieve by spending just one hour a week on something for ten weeks! This week our Upper School drama club performed their pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, to the other children in assembly. Their performance was greatly enjoyed by all. Very well done to all of those pupils involved.
