Children are required to wear blazers as part of their uniform; however, in cold weather they may wear a green coat on top of or instead of the blazer. When wearing coats, children may wear the school woollen hat and green gloves.
When coming to school in PE kits in cold weather, children should wear the school fleece on top of their tracksuits. A woollen hat and green gloves are also recommended and a school rainmac may be worn in wet weather.
Please ensure that, on their journeys to and from school, your children help to maintain the very high standards of appearance and behaviour for which St. Helen's College pupils are known.
Boys’ hair must be cut above the collar and ears in a conventional manner. Crew cuts, shaved patterning, obvious layering and gelling are not allowed.
Girls with long hair should have their hair fastened back away from their faces every day, and ideally plaited so that it stays tidy all day. Hair fastenings should be green, black or white.
Please remember, and follow, the school parking regulations which are available here.
Many thanks, as always, for your support in maintaining high standards at the school and in fostering good relationships with our neighbours and the local community.
