3+ Children enter the Nursery in the September following their third birthday. Part-time (five mornings) and full-time places are offered. The Head writes to parents in the January of the year of proposed entry with information about the entry procedure.

4+ A number of 4+ places are available for children to enter Reception in the September following their fourth birthdays. Again, the Head writes to parents in the January of the year of proposed entry with information about the entry procedure.

Children who are registered are invited to an informal assessment, which takes place before places are offered.

Waiting List - If classes are full and the school cannot therefore accommodate a child, his or her name will be put on a waiting list until a place becomes vacant. We regret that information is not given out about waiting list positions.

Entry at other times - The main points of entry are at 3+ and 4+, as described above, and all Nursery and Reception children join in the September of the year of entry. Places occasionally become available at other times, in which case the parents of children who are on the waiting list will be contacted. Entry at all levels will be subject to assessment and report from the school or nursery previously attended by the child.

Please note - Children are admitted on the understanding that it is the intention of the parents for their child to continue through to Year 6.
