School Fees 2026-2027
School term fees for 2026-2027 are as follows. These figures include lunches and VAT. There are three terms in each academic year.
School fees must be paid in full by the first day of term or in three equal instalments and payments must be made by bank transfer.

Sibling Discount
St. Helen’s College offers a competitive sibling discount for the third and fourth children attending the school (i.e. from Reception to Year 6).
Military Families
We offer serving or veteran services personnel a 30% discount for pupils in Reception to Year 6.
Wraparound Care Fees
(Reception to Year 6) 2025-2026.
After-school clubs end at 6 p.m. and a late collection fee of £10 per 15 minutes, or part thereof, is charged.

Nursery Fees
Fees for our Nursery are billed monthly in advance. Children must be booked in for sessions which total a minimum of 25 hours per week (e.g. 5 half day sessions). From September 2025 the sessions/prices are as follows.

Individual Music Lesson Fees
Individual music lessons are charged at £26.00 per 30 minute lesson at Upper School. At Lower School, individual lessons last for 20 minutes and are charged at £17.50. Music fees are invoiced termly in advance and a half term’s notice is required to terminate lessons.
Admissions FAQs
What is the deadline to apply for Reception spaces?
We strongly advise applications in the autumn term preceding Reception entry the following year. Priority is given to current Nursery children, however we usually have a limited number of places available for external applicants. Assessments take place in January / February and places are offered shortly afterwards.
How many children are in each class?
We admit up to a maximum of 24 children in each class although our average class size tends to be around 20. This ensures we can effectively deliver a personalised education tailored to each child and facilitate a wide social group allowing for friendships to flourish. We have two classes for every year group in the school.
Is it possible to make an in-year application?
Yes, we accept in-year applications if there is a space available within the relevant year group, and hold a waiting list if not. Applicants are invited into school for a trial session for assessment prior to an offer being issued.
Do you accept government funding for a nursery place?
The government’s universal funding scheme is available to all 3 and 4 year olds from the term after their third birthday. 15 hours of childcare is applied across 38 weeks of the school’s term time. Our Nursery operates 50 weeks a year, and therefore we stretch these hours over each week that the Nursery is open. If we apply the Government’s 15 hours of childcare to the 50 weeks that our Nursery is open, this equates to approximately 11 hours of funding per week. This equates to 22 hours of funding per week for families eligible for the 30 hour funding.
Do you offer bursaries?
Yes, we do offer bursaries, these are considered on an individual case-by-case basis. Applications can be made via the Admissions Team.
Do you provide wraparound care?
Yes, we have a Breakfast Club and After School Club for all children in Reception to Year 6 which operates during the school term. We also run a Holiday Club during the school holidays which is staffed by our own staff who know the children well.
Our Nursery is open from 8.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. all year round.
When are the school fees due?
A non-refundable registration fee of £80 is payable at the point of any registration and on acceptance of a place a deposit of £750 is due to secure the offer.
